Johnny Depp Surprises Fans In the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Ride at Disneyland
Lucky fans riding on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California were pleasantly surprised this past Wednesday when Johnny Depp, in full Jack Sparrow costume, made an appearance within the ride itself.
At first, some believed that it was an animatronic figure. When they realized that it was, in fact, the actor himself, everyone seemed to pull out their phones and hit social media.

Most likely promoting the widely anticipated fifth installment of the next feature film in the movie franchise. The Disney film will be titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and will pick up where Jack escapes from Salazar (Javier Bardem). Ghost soldiers also make their escape and the only thing that might save him is Poseidon’s Trident. In order to obtain it, he will have to recruit the help of Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario).
Now, the reason why I personally was not at Disneyland that this exact moment escapes me right now but I’m still young, um…well…, there’s time. I think this was awesome of Depp to do this for his fans.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to be released in theaters everywhere on May 29th, 2017.
