Jimmy Kimmel Thanks Fans and Friends for Love and Support
On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel shared a heartfelt and emotionally charged moment with his audience and fans across the world as he spoke about the birth of his son and the moments that have come after it. His son was born with a congenital heart defect and had to have surgery at just three days old.
While Jimmy, his wife, and both of their children together are extremely strong, the times they’re all experiencing right now are hard to work through. The family is blessed to have been so close to a wonderful hospital where his son was treated and released to be home so the family could bond as a unit. There will be more procedures necessary in his life, but for now, Jimmy and his wife are enjoying their moments with him.
After the outpouring of love and support he received on social media after his tearful moment Monday, he shared a photo of his wife holding his son, along with their daughter in the shot, and a sweet message of gratitude for those who have reached out to him.

The love radiates off of this photo and into the hearts of everyone looking at it. The fact that he shared such an intimate moment with his fans shows how grateful he really is for all of the kindness that people have shown him in this unexpected time.
He also announced that he’s able to be home with his family during these precious days thanks to friends who have offered to take on some episodes of his show. He sent out a Tweet just hours ago thanking Will Arnett for filling in for him tonight.
