Marvel Releases a New Behind-The-Scenes Look at ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

In honor of Thorsday, Marvel released a brand new behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok.  The new video supercuts footage from the previously released film trailers with added interviews and commentary from film stars Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo as well as director Taika Waititi.  Additionally, the video gives fans a fun look at some behind-the-scenes antics and goofing around from the cast and crew.  We love these types of videos!

Hemsworth kicks things off by saying, “In this film, we wanted to strip it back and we wanted to have fun with it.  Taika had the exact same idea and we were both saying, ‘In Thor: Ragnarok, let’s try and have more attitude.'”

If the previously released trailers are any indication, this film is going to be tons of fun with a whole lot of attitude!

In the video, Waititi can be seen wearing Loki’s headpiece and messing around on set.  During his interview, he said, “Ragnarok is sort of a new cycle in the life of the world, the realms, the universe.  It’s the destruction of the old and rebirth of the new. The way that I’ve approached this is to rebuild it in a new way.”

Ruffalo sets the scene for the film by saying, “Thor is in a crisis.  He never went back to Asgard to claim the throne. He wanted adventure. When we pick him up, he’s at the end of this search for himself.”

But ultimately, it’s Hemsworth who comments on how the whole story comes together with what he calls, “a perfect mix of where the character and story need to go.”

Check out the super fun behind-the-scenes video below.  Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3rd!
