WATCH: Jason Momoa Shows He’s Still Fluent in Dothraki on ‘The Graham Norton Show’
Learning a new language can be extremely difficult and extraordinarily challenging. As if learning the language wasn’t difficult enough already, if you don’t keep up your practice in speaking and understanding it, you kind of lose it unless you are Jason Momoa!
Momoa appeared recently on The Graham Norton Show to promote the upcoming Justice League film. Of course, you can’t have an interview with Jason Momoa without talking about Game of Thrones. Momoa played Khal Drogo on the hit HBO series and, Norton thought it would be a fun idea to show off some amazing (or not so amazing) Drogo and Daenerys cos-players during the interview.
After the group had a good laugh over the images, Norton asked Momoa if he could still speak the Dothraki language from the series. When Momoa says that he can indeed still speak it, he’s put to the test by Norton and his fellow talk show guests Sarah Millican and Hugh Grant.
Momoa impressively pulls out some romantic Dothraki smooth talking as well as some phrases which sound like some fightin’ words! Whatever he actually said, his recollection is extremely impressive.
