Here’s How Twitter Reacted to ‘The Walking Dead’s’ Latest Death
We all suffered a very devastating loss on this past Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead. While Eric’s death and the ramifications it will have on Aaron were still lingering, everyone’s gears quickly shifted as we followed the fall of King Ezekiel throughout the episode’s hour. We watched as he discovered that he had led all of his people to their deaths and then was forced to flee from them as they began to reanimate.
As he slowly began to wither down throughout the episode, it became clear that Ezekiel was never going to be the same.
And just when it looked like he was going to sacrifice himself to allow Carol and Jerry to get away safely, he was saved by Shiva, the tiger that he once saved.
Unfortunately, she was no match for the swarm of walkers coming in at all sides and Ezekiel watched in horror as she did the same thing he was just about to do – sacrifice herself.
It was one of the most devastating deaths in the series, which is an interesting thought considering humans die on the show basically every single episode.
When watching literally anything :
People die:
An animal dies:
So, if you’re still reeling from Shiva’s death, don’t worry you’re not alone. The people of Twitter are always right there with you.
First, there were the ones who also fell into the people vs. animals category.
Jerry splits a guy in half, I don’t blink. CGI Shiva is killed, I’m ready to straight up beat someone. #TheWalkingDead

Shiva deserved better, but at least she went out saving her King.

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
