Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley’s Golden Globe Reunion is Giving Us All of the Feels

You and your tear ducts probably remember a little film called The Fault in Our Stars that hit theaters in 2014 and made us all uncontrollably sob for an hour and a half.

Adapted from John Greene’s novel, it starred Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as Hazel and Agustus, two teenage cancer patients who begin a life-affirming journey of romance, friendship, adventure, and one heck of a trip to Amsterdam.

They also completely ruined the word ‘okay’.

One of the best parts of the film was the undeniable chemistry between Woodley and Elgort who planted the seeds that they could be our next Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan when they teamed up again for the Divergent series. Even though they played siblings in the movies, it was always great to see them on screen together.

Well, queue this year’s Golden Globe Awards where Elgort was nominated for his role in Baby Driver and Woodley was nominated for her role in Big Little Lies, giving us all the opportunity to see the two reunite and boy were our prayers answered.

While giving an interview, Shailene stopped to say hello to Ansel who was somewhere off screen, which was really just an adorable setup to the perfect photo that they later took inside the theater.

We can’t be the only ones that are getting all of the feels, right?

Apparently not, because soon after the lovely people of Twitter immediately began freaking out over the cuteness.

The Globes were actually an even bigger reunion for The Fault in our Stars as Laura Dern who played Hazel’s mom in the film was also nominated (and won!) for Big Little Lies. 

While a photo of the three of them hasn’t hit the internet yet, we are anxiously praying that it does soon. Here’s to hoping for more Ansel and Shailene in 2018 and beyond!
