Milo Ventimiglia Admits He Fell into the Swimming Pool at the Golden Globes After-Party
If you follow Milo Ventimiglia on his social media platforms, you may have noticed that, after a long hiatus, he returned to Instagram one week ago by posting a picture of a hand-written note which simply says, “Now where was I…” He hasn’t posted much since then until the night of the Golden Globes. Ventimiglia attended the awards show with his castmates from the NBC hit series This Is Us and it sounds like the after-party got a little crazy (or maybe just soggy).
A waterlogged Ventimiglia took to Instagram late on Sunday night and posted a story video for his fans. In the story, he said everyone had a good time at the Golden Globes. He congratulated his fellow costar Sterling K. Brown who took home the award for Best Actor in a Drama TV Series. He held up a script showing he was studying up for a full day on set the next day and, at the very end of the video, he admitted that the reason he was all wet was that he did, indeed, fall into the swimming pool.

In case you were wondering, Milo isn’t messing around. NPR’s Eric Deggans witnessed the whole thing and commemorated the event via Twitter by saying, “At HBO’s Golden Globes party. Believe I just saw Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us slip and fall into the pool, which is mostly covered but open in one spot…”

Poor Milo! We’re just happy that he wasn’t injured and that the water was there to break his fall! We are sure he had a good laugh about the whole thing once he dried off. We love you, Milo!
