‘Harry Potter’ Themed River Cruise is Coming to the U.K. this Summer
Harry Potter lovers will soon be able to embark on a whole new type of fan experience. Starting this summer, the Barge Ladies cruise company will be offering weeklong Harry Potter themed cruises along the River Thames in the U.K.
On board the charming Magna Carta, fans can take a weeklong cruise down the river while visiting various Harry Potter filming locations along the way as well as a stop at Warner Bros. Studio to top it all off.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the cruise starts off in Hampton Court and visits locations such as, “Virginia Water (the setting for Harry’s meeting with Buckbeak in The Prisoner of Azkaban), Picket Post Close (the filming locale for 4 Privet Drive in The Sorcerer’s Stone), the Harry Potter tour at Warner Bros. Studios (preserving props, costumes, and sets from the films), and Oxford’s Christ Church College (the Great Hall served as a model for the Great Hall of Hogwarts).”
