‘Arrow’: The ‘Legion of Doom’ Villains Pitched for a Sitcom!

After the Golden Trio of Villains known as the ‘Legion of Doom’ (Damien Darhk, Eobard Thawne and John Barrowman) spent a good amount of time threatening the heroes of the Arrowverse for multiple seasons, the members of the Legion of Doom found themselves all going their own separate ways. Although, no one really fully leaves us in the Arrowverse – as we have all learned.

We absolutely miss them dearly, as they all brought something quite unique and special to their shows. Well, it would seem as though the actors themselves have missed being on the show as well and would in fact love to have their own series!
In an interview with Discussing Film, Reverse-Flash actor Matt Letscher revealed that they pitched a comedy series based on the group of villains, following their exploits in the second season of Legends of Tomorrow.

“It was a lot of fun. I had a great time with those guys. And you can tell they’re having fun, too. It’s definitely one of those sets that was really easy to work on, everybody was such a pro. We pitched – multiple times — we pitched a half-hour sitcom version of the Legion of Doom to the powers that be at CW and nobody’s bitten yet, but I still think there’s a possibility.”

Now whether or not this is in the realm of possibilities the idea itself could be quite fun. In a world full of heroes and villains, the villains certainly need a little bit of love as well!

The Legion of Doom cast certainly had a fantastic amount of chemistry, both on and off screen, and we would absolutely love to see them reunited!

Legends of Tomorrow returns on Monday, February 12th at 9PM/EST on The CW.
