Michael Myers Returns to Haddonfield in ‘Halloween’ Trailer

Do you believe in the Boogeyman? If not, you should.

40 years later, Michael Myers has made his return to Haddonfield with one person in mind – Laurie Strode. Jason Blum’s Halloween takes place exactly 40 years following the 1978 Classic Film by John Carpenter – ignoring all the proceeding films and the rules that go along with them. Will Laurie be ready for Michael as he makes his return? She’s been at peace for 40 years – but it is all about to come to an end.

The reboot, which contains the original score by John Carpenter, is anticipated to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Nick Castle has reprised his role as Michael Myers, and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. The fact that the two of them were rallied up and brought back for this film makes it all the more exciting. I cannot wait!

Michael has been plotting his revenge for 40 years – but he apparently wasn’t the only one.

Check out the official trailer below:

I don’t know if I’m the only one who just got the goosebumps at that original Halloween score playing throughout that trailer. Blumhouse has been putting out some phenomenal films the past few years and judging from this trailer and the past few teaser clips that I have seen. This certainly is going to be the horror film of the year, and I absolutely cannot wait for October to get here. Halloween is already my favorite holiday!

Halloween arrives in theaters on October 19th, 2018.
