‘Teen Titans GO! to the Movies’ is 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes
In just a matter of days, the Teen Titans will embark on their wildest adventures yet only this time, they’ll be doing it on the big screen! That’s right! Teen Titans GO! to the Movies opens nationwide in theaters this weekend and fans of all ages are pumped to see their favorite DC cartoon characters in a feature film.
Directed by the original series creator Aaron Horvath and producer Peter Rida Michail, the animated film will star Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Scott Menville (Robin), Khary Payton (Cyborg), Tara Strong (Raven) and Hynden Walch (Starfire). The film is also written by Horvath along with producer Michael Jelenic.
While DC hasn’t had the best run at the box office, the film has debuted with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes! Series star Khary Payton celebrated their perfect positive rating over the weekend with a post to his social media pages. Payton captioned his photo by saying, “100% FRESH!!! Variety, the AP, Hollywood Reporter and more are ALL loving #teentitansgomovie!!!#teentitansgo Suck it, haters! It’s been two days since Payton posted the about the perfect score and Titans is still holding strong. All signs point to a promising opening this weekend.
