Full List of Winners From the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards

As Hollywood makes its way closer to the Academy Awards, it was time for the critics’ to have their say. Hosted by Taye Diggs, the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards took place last night at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California and it was an evening full of snubs, surprises, and…ties? The Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association honored the best in film and TV with awards favoring Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma, which walked away with Best Picture, Best Director, Best Foreign Film, and Best Cinematography.

In one of the night’s biggest surprises, there were two ties amongst the winners. Both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close tied for Best Actress and Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette tied for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. John Krasinksi’s A Quiet Place walked home with the award for Best Sci-Fi or Horror Film and Christian Bale took home two awards for his turn as Dick Cheney in Vice.

In television, Amazon’s Marvelous Mrs. Maisel continued its award season sweep as did Darren Criss for his role in  The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. Sandra Oh and Matthew Rhys both took home Lead Actress and Actor in a Drama with Bill Hader scooping up his first post-Emmy win for Barry. The Americans, which aired its season finale last year, took home the top honor for Best Drama.
