New ‘Walking Dead’ Photos Preview a Free Negan, The Whisperers & Dog!
We are only two Sunday’s away from the return of The Walking Dead and while there’s all this talk of “whisperers” mulling about, these new photos AMC released of the midseason premiere have us making all kinds of noise. Check them out below!
From the looks of it, things will be picking up with the same group from the midseason finale who learned about the terrifying Whisperers after a seemingly normal walker, avoided Jesus’ attack and killed him instead – and we are still not ready to say goodbye. Here they are heading back to the Hilltop.
And here’s another one featuring everyone’s new favorite character, Dog.
Thanks to a recent promo, we learned that Daryl and Michonne encounter Lydia, the daughter of The Whisperer’s leader, here on this bridge. Presumably, she’s the one on the right or close by.
While Lydia’s storyline in the comics heavily featured Carl Grimes, a lot of the promos we’ve seen so far have shown her interacting with Daryl quite a lot.
Here’s a nice earthy shot of Luke and Alden.
Let’s not forget that Negan was able to escape his cell in Alexandria during the midseason finale. While one promo showed him back at The Sanctuary, this one has him still wandering within the walls of Alexandria.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 10th at 9/8c on AMC!
