‘Arrow’ Preview ‘Purgatory’
Last week’s episode of Arrow was certainly a heart-wrenching one, as we got to enjoy the performance of Paul Blackthorne, who won over our hearts for years in his role as Quentin Lance. ‘Reset’ ended with the team returning to the iconic and memorable island of Lian Yu, back where it all began.
We’ve see the team return to the formidable destination quite a few times in previous seasons, each time with a more complicated twist than the last. This time, Oliver will return with his team along with his two children, Oliver and Mia. Although the preview doesn’t reveal too much, I do have to say that I am extremely interested to see what the writers have in store for us this episode. If there is one thing that the Arrow’s writer room is gifted at, it is leaving us surprised.
Check out the preview and official synopsis below:
BYRON MANN GUEST STARS – Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) mission takes him to Lian Yu where he tries to ignore the repercussions of the looming Crisis until he receives help from an old friend. Meanwhile, a united Team Arrow faces a recognizable villain.
I’m extremely curious to see who this ‘old friend’ is…. but it SEEMS like it’s going to be Yao Fei? I’m curious to see how that is possible, since he died in Season 1.
Each episode this season has taken us back with the sweet treat of a character return, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what is in store with this week’s episode.
Arrow will return when ‘Purgatory’ airs on December 7th, 2019 at 8PM/EST on The CW.
