Birds Of Prey And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn just got a little more impressive, and they added a few more people to the cast! At the beginning of November Variety wrote that they still haven’t found their Black Mask and that Ewan McGregor was in talks to step in the role. Ever since we haven’t heard anything about that, but DC Comics did give us a little treat!
Not only did they add a villain to the list, but they also added another actor to the fast-growing cast. The Mindy Project star Chris Messina is officially stepping into the role of Victor Zsasz! Victor Zsasz is one of the villains in the Batman universe that always gave me the chills. For every victim, he takes the life of, he carves a tally mark into his skin. According to Deadline, Victor Zsasz will work alongside Black Mask.
Birds Of Prey’s big bad will be Black Mask who was created by Doug Moench and made its first appearance in the 1985s Batman comics (#386). Margot Robbie reprises her role as Harley Quinn who will star in the movie alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary. After the girl gang being cast, Warner also announced that Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, and Matthew Willig joined the cast of the film. Black Mask has not officially been cast yet, but Variety reported at the beginning of November that Ewan McGregor is in talks for the role.
Birds Of Prey and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn will hit theaters on February 7, 2020.
