‘Birds of Prey’ Brings Colorful New Poster

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is slowly getting a louder voice online. First, they delivered a teaser last week that only got shown at the IT: Chapter Two viewing. Then the Official Birds of Prey Twitter page released a new colorful poster.

Take a look below:

The colorful poster includes Margot Robbie and the other girls joining the Birds of Prey. Ewan McGregor’s character got to join the madness as Black Mask and is also seen floating around Harley’s head as well. The image is a perfect match to the posters they released for Suicide Squad. It’s different then what they did for the movie, but it keeps the cartoon-vibe, as you usually see characters with little birds flying around their head after a little accident.

Recently a lot of fans had mixed feelings about Black Mask, especially since the trailer. Others are concerned that we won’t get a real Black Mask portrayal. Others are thinking we might just see a Roman Sionis before Black Mask. There is a possibility that we might see some sort of an origin for who Roman Sionis will become. Also, Victor Zsasz, portrayed by Chris Messina, doesn’t look bald and full of scars like we’re used of him in the comics or the TV show Gotham. I think it’s essential to wait until we either get another trailer or just wait for the movie.

Birds of Prey is directed by Cathy Yan and stars Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), and Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya), Ewan MacGregor(Black Mask)Chris Messina (Victor Zsasz), and Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain).

What do you think of the poster? Are you excited for the movie? What are your thoughts on Ewan Mcgregor‘s Black Mask? Let us know in the comments below.

Birds of Prey will fly into the theater on February 7, 2020.

Read the synopsis below:

“After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes – Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya – come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord.”
