New ‘Captain Marvel’ trailer hints at her past

Whilst Marvel Studios still haven’t confirmed or denied the new Avengers: Endgame promo art, they have been kind enough to grace our news feeds with a new Captain Marvel trailer.

“Something in my past is the key to all of this”. The trailer shows us more of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson)  questioning her past as she grapples with her new destiny as part of Starforce. While there’s not much new footage, any chance to see Marvel’s newest, and strongest, hero in action is fine by me. With more of a focus on her life in space than in previous trailer, we also get another brief glimpse at a young, two eyed, Nick Fury and confirmed villain Ronan as well as a chance to see more of Danver’s epic powers on display.

You check it out the new spot for yourself below.

Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s and follows Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (played by Larson). When Danvers’ DNA becomes mixed with that of an alien, she becomes one of the most powerful superheroes ever, Captain Marvel.

In addition to Larson, Captain Marvel stars Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan, and Djimon Hounsou. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directed the film which was written by Boden and Fleck as well as Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive, and Carly Mensch.

Captain Marvel is set to be released on March 8, 2019.

I don’t know how everyone else feels, but March can’t come soon enough.  Let us know your thoughts about the latest trailer in the comment section below.
