Chadwick Boseman To Reunite With The Russo’s For New Film

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is teaming back up with Infinity War directors Joe and Antony Russo for a new movie that’s not Marvel! Variety reports that the reunion is all for an action-thriller titled 17 Bridges. The project marks the 4th collaboration for Boseman and the Russo’s who all worked together on Captain America: Civil War, Infinity War and the upcoming Avengers 4. While Boseman will star in the film, the Russo’s will be producing under their new company Agbo.

From STX Films (Molly’s Game) 17 Bridges follows Boseman as “a disgraced NYPD detective who, after being thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, is given a shot at redemption.” Joining the Russo’s as producers are Boseman’s partner Logan Coles and Mike Larocca. Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones, Luther) will direct a script written by Adam Mervis with production beginning in September.
