Dave Franco to Make Directorial Debut With New Thriller Starring Alison Brie & Dan Stevens

While you may be used to seeing him in front of the camera in comedies such as 21 Jump Street and Neighbors, Dave Franco is gearing up to step behind the camera to direct a new horror/thriller titled The Rental.

According to Deadlinethe film will feature a talented young cast including Glow’s Alison Brie, Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens, Shameless’ Jeremy Allen White, and Snowpiercer’s (2019) Sheila Vand. It’s set to follow two couples who rent a vacation home for what should be a celebratory weekend get-away…emphasis on should be. Black Bear Pictures will be financing the film and producing with Franco’s company Romana Films.
