The tweet reads— Huge thanks to everyone who downloaded and tried the #DMC5 Xbox One demo! As of today, it will no longer be available for download, but it’s still playable if you have it on your system. A new demo is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on February 7th!
There enlies the sad and good part. Unfortunately if you have not downloaded the Xbox One exclusive demo you are out of luck. That demo was announced at Microsoft’s X018 event in New Mexico. It was quite a get for Xbox and it launched that day, December 7th.
As for now PlayStation fans, you do have to wait. February 7th will be the first time you get your hands on Devil May Cry 5. The plus? You are not just getting the original demo. For both consoles this will be something completely new.
Devil May Cry 5 was announced at the Xbox E3 showcase in June 2018. A few rumors were going around before that it was in the works, but no one knew for sure. Capcom has surprised everyone with how quickly the game is going to release, as well as all of the promotional demos that have been prepared. Capcom seems to be set on advertising DMC5 as heavily as possible. Devil May Cry 5 will launch on March 8th, 2019.
What do you think of the news? Have you downloaded the original demo, or are you waiting for the second one? “Dante” fear and drop us a comment below!
