Disney’s ‘Tangled’ Series Gives Fans a Mini ‘Chuck’ Reunion
Chuck and Sarah are back together! Well, kind of. Chuck’s Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski recently reunited while recording the upcoming season 2 premiere episode of Disney Channel’s animated series Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. Strahovski will be guest-starring as Euguene’s ex-fiance named Stallion, whose name definitely causes a bit of confusion.
“We’ve always talked about this prized “stallion” that Flynn had run off with and now we come to find out that it’s not a stallion [horse] but Stallion [a woman],” Levi explains.
Check out the sneak peek below to see what he means!
Levi and Strahovski both appeared on NBC’s Chuck from 2007 to 2012 with Levi playing the titular character of Chuck, a computer nerd who somehow ends up with all of the government’s secrets stuck in his head, and Strahovski playing Sarah, the CIA agent sent to keep him safe. The two characters began as colleagues but the more they worked together, the closer they got and eventually their friendship turned into a serious relationship. Despite never having the best ratings, Chuck was beloved by fans, who often helped save the show from cancellation.
The pair has clearly kept a close friendship since the series wrapped thanks to this fun behind-the-scenes clip that Disney Channel shared. The two talked about teaming back up for the episode and even has some footage of them in the recording booth together. Check that out below!
Previously called Tangled: The Series, season 2 will bring back Levi and Mandy Moore as the beloved Rapunzel and Eugene, in addition to Eden Espinosa, James Monroe-Iglehart, and Jeremy Jordan as fan-favorites Cassandra, Lance, and Varian. Be sure to catch Levi and Strahovski tonight when Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure premieres on Disney Channel!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
