Final Season of ‘Gotham’ to Premiere in March
Gotham is currently filming its fifth and final season, and now we have a premiere date!
According to epguides.com, the official television programming guide, it will premiere on March 15th, 2019.
We learned in May just before the season 4 finale, that Gotham would be coming to an end at the fifth season, and will come with a shortened episode order.
The final season is said to be following the events of the finale, which ended with the city of Gotham destroyed and trapped by a bunch of bomb explosions. It’s a combinaton of the Batman No Mann’s Land storlyine and “Zero Year” by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.
Perhaps the most anticipated partof the finale, however, is Bruce Wayne finally coming into his own as the one and only Batman: The destined protector of Gotham. Supervillain Bane will also appear for the firdt time in the finale season.
Gotham stars David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
The final season will premiere on March 15, 2019.
