‘God of War’ Documentary Coming Soon
The PS4 exclusive, God of War just turned a year old on the 20th April. As a celebration for its triumphant release, PlayStation are releasing a documentary that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the game featuring Cory Barlog, the director of God of War, as well as the actors and actresses who played key characters like Kratos, Atreus, and Freya.
Raising Kratos will not only focus on the creation of the game but also the Santa Monica Studio team who made it all possible. When you look at the history of Kratos, God of War took this menacing God-slayer and redefined him, setting the God of War series on a entirely new path. This documentary will look at how this happened- how the God of War story changed from a narrative focused on executing legendary Gods, to a story that focuses on family and the internal struggles of being a God of War.
PlayStation announced the news on Twitter:
Happy first anniversary, God of War! Celebrate with Raising Kratos, an upcoming feature-length documentary on the incredible adventure's creation. Watch the trailer: https://t.co/ELvh35GmrJ pic.twitter.com/nI9QgEEILF

Mine was definitely the first fight with Baldur because it really separated itself from other boss fights and I had no idea how different this game would be in comparison to the earlier games. For me, this fight redefined boss battles and gaming cinematics, it’s one of the main reasons why this game is one of my favorites- the other being constantly hearing “BOY!”
