‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ Confirmed
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has been confirmed as the first chapter in the post-Thanos Phase 4.
The Marvel cinematic universe is broken up into phases and we are about to enter the 3rd phase on May 6 with Captain American: Civil War.
“We’re only working on what’s been announced through the end of 2019. And it is still a big chess board for 2020 and beyond, but certainly I would say Guardians 3 is one film that’s up there. I don’t know what exactly the order will be,” says Marvels’ Kevin Feige.
This means we are still years away from Phase 4 actually beginning but it is rumored that Marvel has three “as-yet-untitled” film slots for 2020 and Guardians 3 could snag one of them.
For those who are not familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe , the 1st phase began with Iron Man (2008) and ended with Marvel’s The Avengers (2012).
Phase 2 began with Iron Man 3 (2013) concluding with Ant-Man (2015).
Films set for Phase 3 include: 2016: Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man:
Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok 2018: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1, Ant-Man and the Wasp 2019: Captain Marvel, Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2, Inhumans.
