Please join us in wishing a very happy birthday to our favorite Guardian of the Galaxy, Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt! He turns 39 years young today.
Pratt’s first television role was as Harold Brighton “Bright” Abbott on The WB’s (now known as The CW) Everwood. Soon after that show ended, Pratt found his way to sunny California and joined the cast of The O.C.
In 2009, he captured the hearts of audiences everywhere in what can arguably be considered his breakout role. Pratt shined as Andy Dwyer, the lovable man-child singer, shoe shiner and (eventually) parks department employee on Parks and Recreation.
Pratt starred in Parks and Recreation until the series ended in 2015. During that time, he also began venturing more and more into film by starring box office hits such as Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, Her, The Lego Movie, and The Magnificant Seven.
In 2014, he took his place in the Marvel universe as Peter Quill (Star-Lord) in Guardians of the Galaxy (which would then lead to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and Avengers Infinity War). The very next year, he stepped into Jurassic World as the notorious raptor trainer Owen Grady, a role he will be reprising in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Chris, we here at Fan Fest News wish you a very happy birthday and we hope that all of your birthday wishes come true today and always!
