Happy Birthday, Sean Gunn!
That’s right! Yondu’s second-in-command and Stars Hollow’s jack of all trades but master of none, Sean Gunn turns 44 today!
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Sean is the younger brother of Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn who cast him in the role of Kraglin in both GOTG films.
Some of Sean’s other film and television credits include 3rd Rock from the Sun, Angel, Yes, Dear, True Jackson, VP, Scream Queens (2008), Pearl Harbor, The Belko Experiment and he provided the set acting for the Marvel character, Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Fans know and love him best for his role as Kirk Gleason on Gilmore Girls. Sean actually played two other roles before becoming a regular cast member. He played the role of the DSL installer, Mick, and as the Independence Inn swan delivery man. Throughout the series, Kirk had a total of 62 jobs, some of which were just attempted.
