HBO Releases New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Footage

Before I start. Don’t get too excited. We only got 5 seconds of new Game of Thrones content, but as we impatiently wait for the final season I’ll take anything… A poster, a 5 second teaser, even the Bud Light ad, just give me Game of Thrones.

HBO are certainly busy this year. But lets look at the Game of Thrones footage. If you haven’t seen it, it’s at the 0.48 mark. You’re welcome.

From the looks of it, the new footage shows Daenery’s army of Unsullied moving to Winterfell with Drogon following. We then see Arya Stark who seems incredibly happy. Who wouldn’t be after seeing a dragon for the first time. While it wasn’t shown, this also means we will get the long awaited reunion between Jon Snow and Arya, who haven’t seen each other since season 1. It should be a lot better than Arya and Sansa’s reunion which was rather underwhelming, but considering all that they went through I don’t really blame them.

We also got some interesting developments from the Oscar red carpet last night. E News managed to talk to Emilia Clarke before the massive event. When asked about what she thinks the reaction to the final episode of Game of Thrones will be, Emilia simply replied with “Shock”.

She then added:

“It’s going to be huge, that much everyone needs to know, it took us a long time to film this one for a very good reason. But I think there’s going to be some things…I know there’s going to be some things in this last season that will shock people.”

We are not that far away from the final season anymore, we can do this. Game of Thrones is set to return on Sunday 14th April. Mark it in your calendar, book days off from work so you can grieve (don’t do that), and prepare yourself for 6 epic episodes.

Are you excited for the final season? While we’re here, I want to know what you want to see in the final season, let me know in the comments below.
