How They Kept The Quicksilver Secret
WandaVision had one of the best cameo guests of all time. Even more surprising was the fact that Disney succeeded in keeping it under wraps! Mostly anyway, a few people guessed or figured it out but it wasn’t a widespread thing. For the most part, fans who tuned into WandaVision had their mind blows when Evan Peters appeared on the screen. Even those who had figured it would make sense for Pietro to show up at some point were shocked when it wasn’t the MCU version of the character. Kat Dennings revealed in an interview recently some of the things they did to keep the secret, well… secret. Here is how they kept Quicksilver secret in WandaVision.
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live Kat Dennings spoke about the measures they took to hide Evan Peters.
“Obviously, that was a massive surprise. I mean they kept it from me a little bit as well. I wasn’t sure what was going on. While we were shooting, they cloaked him in [this] thing, so no one could take a drone shot of him getting out of a van, or whatever it was. It was a big secret, but, They pulled it off.”
Kimmel tried to get some more information in regards to what she knows about the reveals coming in future episodes. It seems like Dennings can’t share what she doesn’t know.
“Even if I was being cool and mysterious, I still wouldn’t even know how to crack open any of these theories. I still don’t understand exactly what is going on, which is for the best, honestly.”
We won’t have to wait super long to find out, so it’s not a big deal. WandaVision will be wrapping up its season in a matter of weeks.
