Insight Editions’ San Diego Comic Con Giveaways and Signings

Insight Editions is heading to this year’s San Diego Comic Con with a slew of fantastic giveaways and signings in tow!

Starting July 19th, attendees will be entered to win an Insight Collectible when they sign up for the Insight Editions newsletter. Those attending multiple days can sign up every day for a chance to win. Prizes include –

On Friday July 21st, the first 100 attendees that purchase the Back to the Future: Sculpted Movie Poster & Back to the Future: The Ultimate Visual History Collectors edition at the Insight Editions booth (#3721) or online using this link will receive an exclusive Back to the Future bookplate signed by Bob Gale, and also have the opportunity for a quick meet-and-greet. Then, on Saturday July 22nd, the first 25 attendees who purchase a copy of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Cookbook during co-creator Kevin Eastman’s signing at the Insight booth will receive a ticket to attend an exclusive TMNT-themed pizza party where Eastman will be in attendance. The party will take place that night from 9 to 11pm.

Thursday, July 20th

1:00 – 2:00pm: MONDO Mania Panel – Room 7AB:

Mondo’s art posters bring to life beloved films, television shows, and comics. Join Rob Jones (Founder/Creative Director), Eric Garza (Creative Director), Jay Shaw (Creative Director), Jason Edmiston (Artist), and Tom Whalen (Artist) as they discuss how their richly imaginative work is fueled by a love of pop culture and an invaluable synergy with fans. Attendees of the panel will receive an exclusive Mondo print promoting Insight Editions’ forthcoming book, The Art of Mondo (September 2017). Following the panel, people can head over to the Mondo booth (#835) to have their print signed by the artists.

4:00 – 5:00pm: Arianna Irwin, author of the forthcoming graphic novel The Comet Vol. 1 (October 2018), will be signing an Insight Comics ashcan at the Insight Editions booth.

Friday, July 21st

11:00am – 12:00pm: Andrew Farago, author of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History and the forthcoming art book The Art of Harley Quinn (November 2017), will be signing Harley Quinn art prints at the Insight Editions booth.

2:00 – 3:00pm: Bob Gale, co-creator and producer of Back to the Future, will be signing bookplates at Insight Editions’ booth for the Back to the Future: Sculpted Movie Poster & Back to the Future: The Ultimate Visual History Collector’s Edition for first 100 fans that purchase the collectible at the Insight Editions booth or show proof of an online purchase.

3:00 – 4:00pm: Livio Ramondelli, illustrator of Hidden Universe Travel Guides: Star Trek: The Klingon Empire and Hidden Universe Travel Guides: Star Trek: Vulcan, will be signing books at Insight Editions’ booth.

4:00 – 5:00pm: Tom Sniegoski, author of the forthcoming Insight Kids book Atomic Frenchie (April 2018) will be signing art prints at the Insight Editions booth.

Saturday, July 22nd

11:00am – 12:00pm: Nilah Magruder, author and illustrator of M.F.K. (September 2017), will sign exclusive early copies of her book available for purchase to show attendees only.

12:30 – 1:30pm: DC Harley Quinn: Celebrating 25 Years Panel – Room 6DE: Twenty-five years ago, Dr. Harleen Quinzel made her first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series¾and what a debut it was!  She was an instant fan favorite and her popularity has been meteoric ever since! Come celebrate the anniversary of her first appearance with some of the key contributors to this modern icon. Author of Insight Editions’ forthcoming The Art of Harley Quinn, Andrew Farago, is a panelist.

1:00 – 2:00pm: Frank Tieri, author of the forthcoming graphic novel Mafia III: The Rise and Fall of Sal Marcano (April 2018), will be signing the Insight Comics ashcan at the Insight Editions booth.

2:00 – 3:00pm: Richard Hamilton, author of DreamWorks Dragons: To Berk and Beyond! and the forthcoming graphic novel Scoop (May 2018), will be signing the Insight Comics ashcan at the Insight Editions booth.

3:30 – 4:30pm: Introducing Insight Comics: Focusing on Content and Creators Panel – Room 24ABC:
