Led by frontman Adam Levine, Maroon 5 makes for a suitable fit for the coveted performance slot. Not only have they been consistently on top of the Billboard charts since their 2002 album Songs About Jane, but Maroon 5 has a lot of potential for exciting collaborations on the Halftime stage. Some of their more recent hits off their 2018 album V include the chance for appearances by Cardi B who was featured in “Girls Like You,”  SZA from “What Lovers Do”, as well as their song “Cold” which featured Future and “Don’t Wanna Know” with Kendrick Lamar.

The band will follow in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake who performed last year with previous headliners including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé. You can watch Timberlake’s full performance below!
