Jennifer Aniston’s Thoughts on a ‘Friends’ Revival Will Make Fans Say Woopah!

The cast of Friends has been getting questions about a reunion for years, heck people were asking before it even ended. Now, with the sudden resurgence of reboots and revivals of show’s of the past, they’re dodging questions more than ever. Plus, with a top spot on Netflix’s catalog, new fans are discovering the sitcom every day. The big question is would the cast be up for it?

In a recent interview with InStyleAniston was asked if Friends would ever come back and her answer was more hopeful than fans would probably expect!

[row]”Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] and I talk about it. I fantasize about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had.”[/row]

Of course, since the show ended way back in 2004, the beloved comedy would absolutely look different nearly fourteen years later and if talks of a revival were to get more serious, there’s one Friend who may need some coaxing before saying yes.

[row]”I don’t know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted. I know Matt LeBlanc doesn’t want to be asked that question anymore. But maybe we could talk him into it.”[/row]

Although, if LeBlanc doesn’t want to do it, Aniston pitched her own Friends spinoff.

We would 100% be in support of that. This isn’t the first time that Aniston has spoken positively about the chance of Friends making a triumphant return. Back in February, Jennifer Aniston stopped by The Ellen Show and when the show came up she definitely didn’t say no.

[row]“Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything! Right? I mean, George Clooney got married! That’s like anything can happen. I think it’s wonderful.[/row]

Friends ran on NBC for ten seasons, becoming one of the most favored sitcoms of all time. Throughout its ten-year journey, the series went on to receive an unbelievable 62 Emmy nominations, of which it won six. Aniston walked away with Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2002 and Lisa Kudrow won Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1998. In addition, the series took home the statue for Outstanding Comedy series in 2002.
