Jennifer Lopez and James Corden Commute in ‘Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special’
James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke‘ segments have become viral sensations, taking over all formats of social media. Last night, Corden celebrated his one year anniversary of hosting ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden‘ with the first ever ‘Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special’.
If you are not familiar with the segment, the premise is simple. James Corden is on his way to work and picks up a celebrity to help him get there. During their travels, they chat, hang out and TOTALLY rock out singing to the radio because, in the car, everyone is a karaoke superstar, even legit superstars!
Last night, the ‘Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special’ featured some of the segments best and most hilarious moments, as well as some new footage. In one of the new segments, Corden is driving along with Jenny from the Block, Jennifer Lopez. Jlo answers Corden’s questions about booty insurance rumor, romance and more while giving Corden some super, hot dance lessons, belting out her hits and texting Leonardo DiCaprio. Yes, we said texting Leo (who JLo affectionately calls “baby”).
