When it comes to military movies, I always find myself extremely intrigued. Having been in the services for 8 years and still continuing, I’m always fascinated to see the portrayal’s of my fellow brothers and sisters in the service. So for, my all time favorites have been both American Sniper and Lone Survivor. However, after seeing trailers and clips for John Cena’s upcoming military thriller The Wall, it looks as though I am going to have a top three.
Any deployed Soldier will tell you that one of the biggest threats and fears, is sniper fire. In this military psychological thriller, these two Soldiers find themselves in for the fight of their lives.
Check out the all new Sneak Peak clip below:
“The Wall” is a deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship. Directed by Doug Liman (“Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” “The Bourne Ultimatum,” “Edge of Tomorrow”), “The Wall” stars Aaron Taylor Johnson (“Nocturnal Animals,” “Kick-Ass,” “Savages” “Godzilla,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron”) and WWE star John Cena (“Trainwreck,” “Sisters,” “Daddy’s Home”), and is written by first-time screenwriter Dwain Worrell from his Black List script. “The Wall” is produced by Amazon Studios.
The Wall will arrive in theaters on Friday May 12, 2017.
