Johnny Depp & Amber Heard: Warner Bros has Reportedly Banned Everyone from Talking About the Two Actors

The past several weeks have been very interesting regarding Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Depp recently had to resign from his role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3  (most likely forced out by Warner Bros.), while Heard remains in her role as Mera for Aquaman 2. There has been a lively debate on the internet as to whether or not Heard should keep her role based on allegations and evidence that has come out against Heard.

Given the very public nature of the dispute, everyone tied to either franchise either have been or are likely to be asked about Depp and Heard.  Both properties are under the control of Warner Bros and the studio is taking preventative measures to make sure that press is both limited and controlled .According to Geek Buzz, the various actors under contract with the studio have been banned from talking about either party in the press:

“The studio has, in effect, gag orders, strict rules regarding speaking out about ongoing legal cases that could affect the studio and this really isn’t any different than rules in place at any corporation. Ms. Heard has her allies at Warner just as Mr. Depp does but only one of them has suffered a legal setback. Once next year’s defamation trial in Virginia is over, and all parties have settled the various counter-suits filed, the gag order will be relaxed some. Expect their co-stars to be a little more forthcoming.”

Recently, Jude Law avoided the conversation when asked about Depp. “In a franchise like this, it’s the studio and the company that makes the big decisions. And you have to go along with those because we’re just a member of the team.” Mr. Law stated to ET Online. Fantastic Beasts co-star Dan Fogler posted a tweet relating to Depp that was swiftly deleted – most likely recognizing he was speaking out of place.

Fantastic Beasts 3 and Aquaman 2 aren’t scheduled to be released until 2022, so there is a lot of time between now and when the films arrive that could change. There continues to be pending litigation between Heard and Depp, which could also make things worse for both actors should more damaging facts come to light.

  1. I think if warner brothers let johnny go she should be let go too.besides it took the both of them to fight or whatever.its over its history. I am on johnnys side. She to me is a total looser. So get her fired too

  2. Everyone needs to boycott all Warner Bros. Movies. This is the United States of America not communist China. Who the hell are they to put gag orders on their employees!

  3. It’s not fair to remove Depp from a movie that alot of people love him in and not amber who I didn’t even bother to pay attention to in aquaman. You can not replace Johnny Depp in any movie/series ever. He is one of the most popular actor and has amazing acting skills. For all who love him should not watch the new fantastic beast or aquaman when they release.
