Paramount Network

Yellowstone found it’s debut season at the top of cable’s list after solidifying itself as the most-watched cable series of the Summer in 2018. After the first season finale, Paramount Network released a press release announcing the season’s dominating numbers, declaring it the “most watched show on cable this summer and most watched new scripted drama on ad-supported cable since 2016.” They ended the season on a high note with the season one finale becoming “the most watched episode in ad-supported cable since April.” Paramount had already renewed the drama for a second season back in July.

Created by Sons of Anarchy alum and Sicario director Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone follows the Duttons, a ranching who own the largest cattle ranch in the United States and are constantly facing off against others (and each other) trying to encroach on their land. Season 2 is currently airing on Paramount Network.
