Kaley Cuoco’s new project: ‘The Flight Attendant’

It’s only been about a month and a half since we last saw Kaley Cuoco on our TV screens. Then she was Penny Hofsteader on The Big Bang Theory, now she’s Cassandra Bowden on The Flight Attendant.

WarnerMedia’s The Flight Attendant is based on Chris Bohjalian’s 2018 novel by the same name.

Flight attendant Cassandra Bowden wakes in her hotel room hungover from the night before in Dubai with a dead body lying next to her. Afraid to call the police, she continues her morning as if nothing happened, joining the other flight attendants and pilots traveling to the airport. In New York, she is met by FBI agents who question her about her recent layover in Dubai. Still unable to piece the night together, she begins to wonder if she could be the killer.

Cuoco will executive-produce the thriller series with Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of Berlanti Productions. Steve Yockey (Supernatural) will be writing the adaptation.

Cuoco’s company Yes, Norman Productions, also just signed a deal with Warner Bros Television Group to continue to develop original TV project ideas.

“I love that Warner Bros. is my home away from home, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue this incredibly collaborative and gratifying relationship,” Cuoco said in a statement to Deadline. “They’re stuck with me now!”

In addition to The Flight Attendant, Cuoco will be starring in and producing DC Universe’s upcoming animated series Harley Quinnand Yes, Norman Productions is working on a project involving Rachel Hargrove’s 2018 novel Sick Girl.
