Lea Michele and Darren Criss just brought back all of the Glee Feelings

There are two types of people in this world; those who loved Glee, and those who won’t admit that they did. Through six seasons and the stories of several young adults, fans saw love and heartache, triumph and struggle, and seasons of life play out to song.

Darren Criss and Lea Michele were two of the most popular cast members, playing Blaine and Rachel, with two of the most emotional stories in the series. They both suffered great love, and great loss, and in their own ways – they made sense of life and in turn, made it their own.

The two have stayed close in the years after the series and their friendship is incredible. They’re both mega-talented, brilliant, and into theater. They’re also insanely supportive of one another and when it comes to friendship, nothing is more important. They spoke about their time on Glee, their ever-evolving friendship, and even sang a number that Blaine and Rachel performed as a duet on the show.

Needless to say, we had to rewatch some old Glee episodes after their Facebook Live chat and the videos that came after.

Lea and Darren channeled Glee in another way with a live performance of Lea’s new song ‘Getaway Car’ which she wrote about her relationship with Cory Monteith, who passed away in 2013. The song chronicles part of their story, where the two would just get in a car and drive away, pretending to get away from it all.

The emotional tune brings a tear to the eyes of those who watched the pair fall in love on and off screen. It’s bound to be one of the biggest numbers from her upcoming album, ‘Places’, which is out on April 28th.
