‘Legends’ Arthur Darvill Used to Plan McDonald’s Birthday Parties
Arthur joined Ciara Reneé and Caity Lotz of Legends of Tomorrow at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Chicago this weekend, where they sat down for their first ever panel as a cast.
A fan asked the three why they got into acting in the first place, and the conversation
bloomed into sharing their first jobs. City Lotz pointed out that Arthur used to do McDonald’s birthday parties, before starring in Doctor Who and Legends of Tomorrow of course!
“The idea of getting normal job was never on my radar at all. I don’t know what else i’d do apart from this.” He said.
“I did train all Mcdonalds people to do birthday parties. I had a car full of games and face paint and balloons. And I’d travel around to each Mcdonalds in England and taught all the people there who didn’t want to be taught at all. Hey guys let’s play some games! I just liked playing all the games.”
He then added, “No one wanted to join in. So then I thought well I’ll be on TV then.”
