Liza Koshy to Host ‘Double Dare’
Nickelodeon’s longest-running game show is back!
Double Dare originally aired from 1986-1993. The game show focused on two teams as they answered trivia and endured messy physical challenges all with the hopes to make it to the legendary obstacle course.
The original host, Marc Summers, will be back but he’s not hosting. YouTube star Liza Koshy will be taking over as the host. Koshy is also serving as an executive producer alongside Marc Summers, Peter Herschko, and Josh Silberman. Koshy’s excited for the project saying “This is a dream that I have been dreaming to live! From watching Double Dare to hosting it!? I am ready for a summer of slime and nose-picking.”
Nickelodeon has ordered 40 episodes of the Double Dare reboot and will premiere on June 25 at 8 pm.
