Mark Wahlberg & Rose Byrne are Lovable Foster Parents in ‘Instant Family’ Trailer
Paramount Pictures’ holiday box office hopeful Instant Family has finally released its first trailer and it looks to be a heartwarming winner for Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne who team up as a married couple looking to adopt.
At the Foster Fair, the couple meets a spunky and rebellious teenage girl who they decide to foster before learning that she has two younger siblings.
Wanting to keep the family together, the pair decides to take on the challenge and foster all three children. Naturally, some antics ensue as the couple adapts to their new lives as parents.
And even though some challenges arise, they all begin to become a cohesive family unit.
Instant Family looks like the perfect film to go to with the family that will not only touch the heartstrings but will shine a light on the beauty of fostering.
The film features a supporting cast of Octavia Spencer, Isabela Moner, Tig Notaro, Iliza Shlesinger, and Tom Segura. Wahlberg will be reuniting with his Daddy’s Home writer/director Sean Anders, who says the film is inspired by real-life events from his past.
Paramount recently moved the dramedy up three months from February 2019 to this November. According to Variety, the film has been testing extremely well and the studio sees it as the opportunity to put a heartfelt family film on the list for Holiday movie lovers, following in the footsteps of last years Wonder, which ended up taking home $132 million domestically.
Instant Family hits theaters on November 16th!

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
