MomoCon 2019: Watch Our Footage From The Overwatch Voice Actor Panel
MomoCon 2019 happened last week, and we still have plenty to talk about! If you were not able to make it I took a video of the panel where the Overwatch voice actors answered a few questions. They even did some tongue twisters! Pardon, it is not the highest quality but it sounds pretty good! Watch it right here-
Being at the panel was pretty incredible. The actors that attended were Jonny Cruz (Lucio), Keith Silverstein (Torbjorn), Carolina Ravassa (Sombra), and Gaku Space (Genji). One of the best things about the panel was that each person had their own sense of humor which livened up the conversation. Jonny Cruz is very bouncy and funny in the way he jokes. Keith Silverstein is that amazing dad-like sarcastic. Carolina Ravassa is a treat and Gaku Space… man. Gaku is the epitome of dry humor.
The panel mainly focuses on the actors and we get to learn a little about each of their lives. I wanted to hear them do some of their vocal lines from the game but it was fantastic to learn more about just what it is to be a voice actor. In the second half of the video, they do tongue twisters which are hilarious. Do watch out for the occasional bad word from Mr. Silverstein! The video is mostly clean.
Overwatch is a multiplayer video game from 2016 by Blizzard. It is an international phenomenon, and it has everything from merchandise to an esports league (more on that later)! You can buy Overwatch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
