I wanted to take this next one off the ground a little… Hawkman vs Angel style! Falk Hentschel brought the character of Hawkman to life in the CW show DC Legends of Tomorrow. Ben Hardy brought the character of Angel to life in the recent X-Men: Apocalypse  movie. You know the drill! If these two were to face off, airborne, who would be the champion? It’s a DC vs Marvel Match-up!

Angel (Skills and Abilities)

  • Flight: Angel possesses the superhuman ability to fly by means of his natural wings, which span 16 feet from wingtip to wingtip. His body is virtually devoid of fat and possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. His eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. He possesses a special membrane in his respiratory system enabling him to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.
  • Peak Human Strength: Due to his body’s natural mutation, the Angel possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to him in body weight and can lift about 500 lbs.
  • Superhuman Stamina: The Angel’s musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. His physical stamina while in flight is considerably greater
  • Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Archangel’s body are somewhat harder and more durable than that of an ordinary human, though he is far from invulnerable.
  • Regenerative Healing Factor: The Angel possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables him to repair damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. He can completely recover from non-fatal injuries such as slash and punctures within a matter of hours and injuries as severe as broken bones within a few days. This ability extends to being transferred by blood, thus he can heal others who come into contact with his blood, provided they have the same blood type.
  • Skilled Combatant: Archangel is a solid combatant, especially in aerial hand-to-hand combat.

Hawkman (Skills and Abilities)

  • Divine Empowerment: Hawkman was granted the ability to breathe underwater, by the god Poseidon.
  • Reincarnation: The Nth metal knife which murdered Hawkman in his original incarnation as Hawkman had an unusual effect upon his soul. Hawkman has been able to cheat death and return to active duty in his current incarnation.
  • Weaponry: Due to his multiple incarnations and having memories of all of his past lives, Hawkman has become proficient in many types of weaponry. As a result, he is an expert with a wide array of archaic weapons from his past lives, including battle axes, maces, swords, spears and shields.
  • Reincarnated Knowledge: Due to his many lives and vast amount of experience, Hall is a brilliant tactician, fierce warrior, and strong leader.
  • Skilled Combatant: Hawkman is a solid combatant, especially in aerial hand-to-hand combat.
  • Flight: Hawkman possesses the ability to fly for extended periods of time.
  • Peak Human Strength: Hawkman possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to him in body weight .

Jules Vote: Hawkman. He’s got the advantage with the Nth metal, and his centuries of knowledge and fighting gives him a tactical advantage.
