Netflix To Stream New ‘Star Trek’ By CBS
Netflix announced today that it will be streaming the new Star Trek series that CBS announced last year.
The series will air exclusively on Netflix across the world, 24 hours after the U.S. premiere. Along with the new series, all 727 episodes of the Star Trek TV collection will also be available on Netflix by the end of 2016.

The new series, with all new characters and events is created by Alex Kurtzman who helmed Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager, and Bryan Fuller who co-wrote and produced the hit films Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.
It will begin production in Toronto in September and this willl be the first time Star Trek returns to television since 2005.
