Nielsen Social Ratings: January 30-February 5

Another week, another set of Nielsen ratings!

Since the Nielsen content ratings are separated from series/specials and sports, the Super Bowl will not be making an appearance on this specific list of series and specials. Sunday’s game scored over 48 million uniques and 190 million interactions.

In the series and specials section, Saturday night’s NFL Honors took the top spot with Saturday Night Live taking the second spot on the list.

Two-thirds of TGIT earned a spot on the top ten, Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy, coming in at number five and six respectively.

Rounding out the top ten is Teen Wolf at number nine and the post-Super Bowl debut of 24: Legacy at number ten.

As a refresher: the Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 10 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
