Paramount CEO Confirms ‘A Quiet Place’ Sequel is in Development
Since its theatrical release on April 6th, A Quiet Place has been making a massive amount of noise at the box office. The mostly dialogue-free thriller starring John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds has maintained its number one spot since its opening weekend, only briefly being unseated by Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage. It’s no wonder that Paramount Pictures is already planning their next move with this film in mind.
Wednesday evening, during the studios’ CinemaCon presentation, Paramount CEO Jim Gianopulos made the official announcement that everyone has been waiting to hear. He confirmed that a sequel to A Quiet Place is, in fact, currently in development. CinemaCon’s official Twitter account shared the news publically.
