Ryan Murphy Posts More Terrifying Teasers for ‘American Horror Story’ Season 7

American Horror Story mastermind Ryan Murphy is continuing to tease fans with his cryptic and creepy “hints” via his Instagram account.

Several weeks ago, Murphy began to reveal bits and pieces of details relating to the upcoming season.  for those keeping score, so far we’ve seen a pretty creepy potential new monster, a “red, white and blue clue” showing someone (most likely Evan Peters) with blue dyed hair, a totally new look for star Billie Lourd, his latest casting announcement that Colton Haynes would be joining the American Horror Story family, a terrifying ambidextrous monster and the announcement that Twisty the Clown, one of the most feared characters from American Horror Story: Freakshow, would be returning.

On Wednesday, Murphy was at it again, posting yet another spine-tingling photo linked to American Horror Story.  We’re not even sure how to describe this one, folks.  It’s pretty scary.  Several of Murphy’s followers appropriately freaked out at the sight of the photo saying their trypophobia, which is a phobia of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps, was taking over and, yeah, we totally get it.  Check out the creepy photo for yourselves:

We have no idea how this fits into the upcoming 7th season or even if it is part of the upcoming season teases but, it sure is creepy!

We do know that season 7 of American Horror Story will be set to focus on the most recent Presidential election and will show a version of President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.  The new season is set to take place immediately following the 2017 election night.  In addition to Peter, Lourd and Haynes, additional casting will include American Horror Story alum Sarah Paulson and newcomer Billy on the Street host Billy Eichner.

This week, Murphy also announced via Twitter when the official title for the 7th season will be announced.  Unlike last season, fans won’t be kept in suspense much longer as Murphy will reveal all on Thursday, July 20th, only one week away and, perhaps not so ironically, also the first day of San Diego Comic-Con!
