‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Locations Possibly Revealed
This article might contain a few light spoilers for Episode IX.
The current Star Wars trilogy is in the midst figuring out all of its new elements of the galaxy, while combining faces fans will recognize, nd locations they may have been before. After all, they have to somehow connect 9 episodes of the saga. Rumor has it that Episode IX locations for shooting will be the same locations that debuted in A New Hope and The Phantom Menace.
Star Wars News Net reported that they got glimpse of the filming locations Monday.

It looks like the episode will take us to the Cardington Airship Sheds in Bedfordshire, UK to film in the near future-which will represents the Yavin IV Rebel base. The film begins shooting later this month, so this could be a filming location or it could be used for a few others films. Some others that have shot her include Dumbo and Mowgli.
The Italian iMoviez Magazine revealed that that there was also recently a casting call for 800 extras. The auditions will take place in the Como area of Italy for an “American film of international importance.”
The area was used way back when as Naboo, with its royal looking decor.
Episode IX hits theaters on December 20, 2019.
