‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Auditioned for ‘Logan’ with Hugh Jackman

We’re pretty sure most Stranger Things  fans would agree that series star Millie Bobby Brown could pretty much play any role, ever in Hollywood.  She absolutely crushes it as the Eggo eating character Eleven on the super popular Netflix series but, in an interview released today by Variety, Brown reveals she had her sights set on a different role as well.

In the interview, she reveals that she actually auditioned for a part in Logan, specifically the part of Laura (aka. Logan’s daughter, aka. X-23).  She didn’t get the role but still considers that audition to be one of her best auditions moments.  In Variety’s interview series Actors on Actors, the question posed by WestWorld‘s Evan Rachel Wood is, “Best audition moment and worst audition moment?” Brown answers saying it was Logan and then explains how she “felt like an actor” in the audition:

“I was like, ‘It’s going to be amazing, I’m going to really prepare,’ and I sat in my room reading the lines. Honestly, for me, I felt so — I felt like an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me and, I was like, ‘oh my goodness this is one of the best auditions.’”

That part, of course, went to newcomer Dafne Keen who Brown says was incredible in the role and we totally agree.  Though, thinking about it now, Millie Bobby Brown would have been an interesting casting choice as well.

Check out the interview below and let know what you think about Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown almost being cast in Logan.  Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
