‘Supergirl’ May Only Get Renewed if it Moves to The CW
Warner Bros. and CBS are apparently still in a disagreement about money to confirm Supergirl for its second season.
CBS is not a huge fan of the three million it takes to make each episode, with its average ratings turnout, which is a big reason they are faltering.
The Wrap says that if they moved the show to The CW, the network which Warner Bros. and CBS both own, then they could pull it off, but that would take a big budget cut, which would hurt special effects big time. CBS is a major network, which would mean Supergirl would lose those network dollars and the notoriety.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we are waiting to see what the fate of Supergirl will be!
