Superman Prequel ‘Krypton’ Finally Has a Premiere Date
SyFy has some good news for you Superman fans. The network’s new series Krypton, which will be set generations before Superman’s home planet was destroyed, finally has a premiere date. They revealed on Twitter earlier this afternoon that you can expect the series to fly onto your screen on March 21, 2018.
Before #Superman came to Earth, #Krypton forged its own legends.

Krypton will follow Seg-El, Kal-El’s grandfather, as he struggles with the decision to either save Krypton from destruction or allow it to happen so that his grandson can meet his destiny. Throughout the series, Seg-El will be challenged by popular DC characters such as Brainiac and Adam Strange and will also be stuck in Romeo & Juliet type romance with Lyra Zod.
It will star Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El as well as Georgina Campbell, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Aaron Pierre, and Ian McElhinney all under showrunner Cameron Welsh.

Will you be tuning in?
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
